We’re right next to the Brooklands Metrolink stop, with direct trams to Old Trafford Metrolink station, so you can get to the ground quickly and easily. Walkden Gardens
A beautifully tucked-away public garden offering themed areas including a dovecote relocated from the old hall site, Japanese and fuchsia gardens, a wisteria arch and tranquil lawn spaces. Walkden Gardens are just a short walk from the Brook, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed stroll before or after a pint.
Sale Water Park
A large park of 152 acres featuring a 52-acre artificial lake, watersports, nature reserves, walking and cycling trails. Plenty to explore. Make a day of it and enjoy a drink afterwards.
Bridgewater Canal
The historic Bridgewater canal and towpath is ideal for a comfortable walk or cycle ride, right through Sale. The waterway runs from Manchester, passing through Sale and Lymm. Pop in for a pint at the Brook on your way along this iconic trail.
